I've ordered my kit from a place in California to completely replace my automatic...good riddance to bad rubbish i say.

Charlie is going to be doing the work, though i'm going to try and be there a lot so i can watch, take pics, and perhaps save a bit of time on labor :D

By Febuary, i should have a 5MT Touring Wagon, a rare breed indeed.

OK, the pictures from the install day for Kizerian's car are up on the site in the pictures section. I've also added some new photos that Kizerian sent me, and Allan's info should be up on the site shortly. Todd Green also sent info over, and as soon as I get photos from him, I'm planning on adding his stuff.

soon I will be getting a newer tranny from a 2.5 (not from a '98). My 1.8 tranny has a bearing that is going out and has had a bad 1/2 syncro for a while. From what I can find it is going to cost me $1K. I if I get it next week I won't be able to get it in for at least 2 more weeks....but at least the parts will be here. From what Charlie said and I could see on a 2.5 tranny, my cable clutch will bolt right up to the newer tranny. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I figure we can shoot some action photos at the e-center too if you guys want to....hell, it's supposed to be 50 degrees tomorrow in Park City, I don't think we'll have any ice problems!

I'm up for an install day! My coilovers are sitting in my living room, and hopefully I'll be buying tires for my wheels in the next 1-2 weeks.... oh, and I am now officially employed!!!

Whoa, that was a long road trip.....2,200 miles from Park City to Seattle, Seattle to Spo-Compton (Spokane), then Spo-Compton back to Park City....about 2,000 of those miles in the dark.

Okay, it seems i've at least contributed to the site with the suggestion for NewsPro, which seems to be doing the trick. I'm sure even the most moronic newbie among us could figure this out :P

I do have some video from misc runs in-car, most of them mine, but 3-4 of Matt's at the 2nd Newgate event, which is very cool. They're Quicktime, of course, and not too large, but we'll see what kind of space and bandwidth requirements we have to abide by and go from there.

Oh, and what IM programs do you guys use? I know Benson and Bimmer use MSN, but i'm already using ICQ and AIM, and i'm not willing to run 3 IM clients, drop one, or use Trillian (yet).

OK, so I'm almost there. I have the bio and cars sections almost all complete. I just need the updated info from everyone, and then get the photo section up and figure what to do with the video section.
