ARG! Micro | ARG!!! I don't have time to work on the site! |
FMIC.........and other parts Mini | Well as most of you have seen the FMIC is in. Too bad it's not finished yet :( I need an intake to be made so the piping is out of the way. Someone is working on getting the pipe and we are trying to get it done before this sundays race.
The Link is still giving me problems, but it's better than the stock ECU when racing. I also still have all the parts to do the rear disk conversion now....just need the time to do it. Maybe next weekend.
I'm still thinking of driving out in the fall to hang out for a week and then go to SEMA. Maybe even doing a dyno run to see what Frank can do.

Project FB Drifto Turbo | So we have a bunch of Ground Control, Tokico and Eibach goodies for the Seven, with some assorted bushings for just about everything. Fun times, especially when you don't have pneumatic tools or a torch.
Thanks to some helpful friends, we're pretty much done with this. We goofed and didn't order the bushings as soon as we should have, but i think it's better to work on a project over the span of a few days instead of trying to cram everything in over the space of a few hours anyway.
Also, we've removed more "unnecessary" items from the car. Who needs an antenna when you don't have a radio? Speakers for that matter. |
Uhhh..... Micro | So the race season's started and the shitrocket still isn't ready dammit. I've done NOTHING to the stupid thing all winter.....it's been a horrible ski season, yet I still didn't have any time to work on it. Oh well, hopefully the 1.8 8v will be in the car by the E-Center race on the 6th. Got a 1.8 8v rebuilt, balanced, & blueprinted waiting for me @ TDC.....

February 24, 2003 1 :51 PM | The Season has Started, woe is me Turbo
| So i got screwed with on my schedule in late December, now i'm working Sundays, so any time i want to race i have to trade days with another guy who works here. Problem is, he doesn't get his schedule for a 2nd job until late in the week.
Sorry i missed the first event, but i had something going on Saturday that i really didn't want to miss. Congrats to Calvin and Benson for getting the top times at the event.
See you Friday at the meeting. |
December 9, 2002 9 :08 AM | The trip Mini
| It was cool to see you all and I wish I had more time in SLC. The hachi was interesting to drive and made my car feel fast for a change. It would be so easy to move back there...well except for the transporting all my stuff the 1400 miles there ;)
I have to move at the end of this month, no, not to another city...just a few blocks. But that means I had to spend $700 on a deposit and not on an ECU. I'm hoping to try to get one and have it on the car this spring, before the season starts would be a bonus. Also, I might have a line on a GT25 turbo for cheap. I would have to have up/downpipes fabricated but it would be worth it to have a BB turbo.
I put an EGT in.......DAMN my car runs hot!!!!! I was running around 1400-1600 degrees on the highway with and w/o boost. My car needs to be tuned SOOOOOO badly.
